Part 10 - Where do sculpture ideas come from?

The patterning in
part 9 shows promise. I don't use color often in my sculptures but sometimes I try. What pattern would these wheels create if I filled the outer crescents with color panels? Only one way to find out!

I actually think I like it better without color... It looks for geometric that way and less like a flower

thanks for this great insight into your day to day process of woodthatworks. I have often wondered how a piece will come to full fruition, and this gives us a glimpse of that. Looking forward to seeing the next steps!
